Regardless of your current skill level, the
beauty and challenge of golf is heightened
when you take your game to the course. The
goal of this section is to aid you in finding
the right course or facility for you to play.
If you are looking for a place to play recreationally,
go to our interaction database of accessible
golf facilities to locate one, wherever you
might be.
If you are interested in playing competitively,
the Resource Center has a list of available
tournaments specifically for individuals with
disabilities. Some of these tournaments are
offered for specific levels of skill or for
one type of disability, while others are open
for all; when looking through the listing,
you will find not only the dates and locations
of each event, but also what, if any, restrictions
they place on their entrants.
If you have a question about the Rules of Golf,
or want to become more familiar with the Modified
Rules of Golf, go to the link for A Modification
of the Rules of Golf for Golfers with Disabilities,
the official rule book for golfers with disabilities
who require specific modifications when playing
for an official score. In this section you
may also find contact information for the
USGA Rules of Golf department, which you may
contact if you have a specific rules question.
