Success
in making progress
in golf skill
can be measured
a number of ways.
It can be a short
putt, a solid
shot, or the
score at the
end of your round.
There is no better
motivator for getting started
with playing
golf than knowing others - perhaps
some who even
have the same disability as you - have had success of their
own within the
game. The Resource
Center gathers
such stories
and posts them
on this site
so that you can
not only read
them, but be
motivated by
those they describe
as well. Please
look through
the catalog of
stories by clicking
here to learn about how much
golf has
impacted
others and
how you too
can experience
such success.
One of the
more successful golfers with a
disability is Dennis Walters,
an internationally-acclaimed golf
trick-shot artist. He travels
throughout the country providing
an entertaining hour-long show,
that not only shows some incredible
skill but also spreads the message
that having a disability shouldn’t
keep people from seeking their
own dreams of playing golf. The
USGA Foundation is proud to be
a sponsor of the Dennis Walters
Golf Show. For more information
