In 1997, the USGA Foundation pledged to grant $50 million over a ten-year period to help grow and improve golf through making the game more affordable and accessible for all populations, specifically targeting organizations serving youth from economically disadvantaged backgrounds or individuals with disabilities. This initiative is now known as the “For the Good of the Game” grants program, which has, to date, granted over $30 million to non-profit organizations throughout the country.

Below is a listing of all of the grants that have been made to programs for individuals with disabilities through the “For the Good of the Game” grants program. Since 1997, the USGA Foundation has made 90 grants to 61 organizations serving individuals with disabilities, totaling $1,954,086 committed USGA dollars.
